Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Fall TBR List

Hi everyone!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. The theme this week is Books on my Fall TBR list.

My TBR is rather large at the moment, so this list includes new releases and some books that have been on my shelves for rather longer than I care to admit 😊

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
What can I say, I love JK Rowling! I am very excited to see this film. I was lucky enough to go to the Warner Studios in the UK this summer and see some of the costumes as part of the display and this has only increased my excitement.

The Book Thief
I have been meaning to read this book for a really long time, and am determined to finally read it.

A Shadow Bright and Burning
I do not know much about this book, but am totally drawn in by the beautiful cover. There has also been some momentum about this book growing on BookTube, so this has helped it make my TBR.

A Darker Shade of Magic
This has been on my shelves for a really long time. This year I read Vicious and loved every single minute of it, so I cannot wait to get started on this one.

I loved the Lunar Chronicles and have been waiting for another book by Marissa Meyer. The last Alice in Wonderland retelling that I read was Splintered and I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either.

I have never read anything by Jay Kristoff before and am super-excited to read this one.

The Fate of the Tearling
I loved the first book in this series. I enjoyed the second book, but was a bit confused about where the series was going. I am excited to find out what is going to happen next.

Mistborn: The Final Empire
I have not read anything by Brandon Sanderson but I have heard good things! I cannot wait to get stuck into this one.

The Raven King
I read the rest of the series this year, so want to finish before I forget what has happened! For once I will not put off finishing a series 😊

The Count of Monte Cristo
This book has been tempting me for a while now, but I have been rather intimidated by the number of pages. It has been sitting on my shelves for a number of years, but I will read it this year!

What books are on your Fall TBR? Are there any new releases I have forgotten? Let me know in the comments.

  1. I love your choices! The Book Thief is one of my favorite books of all time – it’s amazing and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! πŸ™‚ And the cover for the Fantastic Beasts screenplay is just so gorgeous that I think I will have to buy it because of that alone… :O
